That last entry was one of the stupidest I've ever written.  All that rambling brought on by having to toss out my old purse, when I could have been posting about going out with Teena last night.

We had way too much fun.  She showed up at around four in the afternoon... she didn't end up going home until after 1am.  And this is why I love living in town - we could walk everywhere and not worry about how much we drank.

We started out at Una, the pretentious martini bar, for one drink - and they do make some damn tasty drinks, even if they are way too expensive - then went across the street to the nicest Indian restaurant in town, Hi Bombay.

After a huge dinner that couldn't be beat we wandered up and down the streets of the Old Port, chatting, and stopped in at Siemper Mas, an import store with lovely clothes and trinkets, which was where we picked up the little elephant purses.

After more up down and around we ended up at Ri Ra, the Irish pub at the exact opposite end of the Old Port which we'd started at.  We stayed there for  quite a while because it's just a nice place to hang out, but eventually we picked ourselves up and began the wander toward our place.

And happened to wander right into the middle of the Greek street festival, which was finishing up with some dancing.  Teena conceived a desire to try Greek food, but they were packing it in for the night.  Perhaps we'll go back today, as I believe they'll be doing more festivalling.:)  I do like the variety one can find around Portland.

Back at home we had a couple more rounds (I had found a bottle of the Vermont Spirits Maple Vodka) while we listened to, and intensely discussed, a variety of music.

Eventually, however, we all had to face the fact that humans still need to sleep.  Damned annoying thing.  Teena is fun to hang out with.

Sooo... eat breakfast?  Or go to the farmer's market?  I haven't had anything yet, just water.  All this time...  And I had to get up after I'd slept only seven hours because I really needed to read Chapter Thirty-Five on [livejournal.com profile] marsassassins!  Yay!  (Creepy Micah corners little Nagi... eep!)
I revealed all to you, earlier today.  What do you carry around with you every day?
