it's summer in Maine...

Yesterday it was off to Lake Winnepesaukee (in New Hampshire) to help a friend of Eor's with opening his camp. Not that we were a great deal of help, we probably mainly distracted him. They had started a project last fall, though, of getting loose a chain which was strangling a tree (it's used to pull up the dock during the winter, and apparently it should have been loosened like six years ago), and Eor wanted to finish that and save the poor tree. He managed to cut through the chain with a dremmel tool. Broke quite a few disks, though.

We were so exhausted when we got home, mainly because it's a long drive.

My Dad called, today, just to chat. :)
