I don't have much to say, at the moment - I've been feeling wiped out tired and snuffily all day. So I really should not say anything, but... right now I'm going to pass on a link [livejournal.com profile] exquiscadavre posted about why the classic SF future was called off, because I thought it was amusing. Although I still don't get why Heinlein's Objectivist hippies lost their appeal. That's just not explained. That was how I was raised, so maybe everyone else gets it and I just don't because I'm like the fish who can't see the water. *smiles brainlessly and hopes nobody will hit her on the head with meanness*

Thanks - I think it's fall allergies, and that I should try to get more sleep tonight.

So, if we're birthday twins we should live the same life, because we'll have the same horrorscope every day, right? ;)

Only if you were born at the same latitude and longitude, and within a few minutes of each other - ie, time, day, month and year; sharing a birthday only means that you share a Sun sign.

Of course, all that's only meaningful if astrology is true, and I'm a Virgo, and Virgoans don't believe in astrology :D

That's funny - I work with a guy who's always guessing people's signs and such, but he says he doesn't believe in it - and he's a Virgo, too.;)

There seems to be a cold going around. Large quantities of people who were on the boat ride on Saturday that I posted about came down with it; I've also been overhearing lots of strangers on the street talking about having colds. In my case the incubation period (assuming I got it on the boat ride) was about three days, and I'm feeling significantly better on the third day of the cold (after taking good care of myself). It was only really nasty for one day.

Of course, could just be allergies.

I'm betting on allergies, because this thing has been hanging on for most of the month, not getting significantly worse or better. The only variation I seem to get is if I drink milk my nose runs more. So, no coffee, because I load it with cream. Black tea!
