Lyrics from "Convalescing in Spain..."

Hagame uno mas!  Esos son muy cool!

Bablefish gives me:
Hagame one but! Those are very cool!

- or in other words, it chokes on 'hagame,' and that must be part of an idiomatic phrase.

Make me one more. Those are very cool!

Babelfish kind of sucks. It couldn't understand "hagame" because it's the imperative conjugation of "hacer" which means "to do". The actual conjugation is "haga", the "me" is added on to the end because it's a command.

7 years of Spanish.

I don't really speak it, but I can conjugate verbs. Haha. I have some useful phrases left, that's about it.

"uno mas", didn't they use that in Shanghai Noon as Chinese or something? It was supposed to mean "one more" but it could've been anything I suppose....

And that would be a very useful phrase after the first tequila. ;)

*laughs* Oh, geez, I should have remembered that - I know when I saw Shanghai Noon I knew that it was the Spanish phrase used for ordering one more drink. :)

Yes, indeed. Another useful phrase would soon be "Donde esta el baño?".

Ah! "Where is the bathroom?" ?

Very important phrase

And “hacer” can mean “do”, but it can also mean “make”, so absent other context I’d translate “Hagame uno mas! Esos son muy cool!” as “Make me another one! These are very cool!” (“Esos” would normally be “those”, but I think here “these” is the more natural translation.)
