I chose a picture which shows my whole outfit pretty well, and got it all cropped and ready, but then [livejournal.com profile] eor pointed out that [livejournal.com profile] cyberquail may not want pictures of herself up, and it was one with both of us.  Soo...  I'll wait on that.  Meanwhile, some cute pics of Eor, and one which shows my headdress (made by [livejournal.com profile] cyberquail) pretty well, because I was very delighted in that.

You can get the full effect of [livejournal.com profile] eor's outfit, here.  That's the hat that he posted about the making of.

This one gives a good view of my headdress made by [livejournal.com profile] cyberquail, but only the vaguest impression of the rest of the outfit.  (The scarf was the one she had run up to do [livejournal.com profile] daegaer's idea of tucking around to give the impression of wearing another layer of clothing, but by the day of I felt as though my burn had faded enough that I wasn't so self-conscious as I had been.  You can see the V across my chest, but it's not near as bad as it was.  The metal circlet I bought as soon as we arrived at the faire, to replace a ribbon which wasn't quite working, but the bauble on the front is hers; I seem to have absconded with it.)

Eor, delighting in turkey leg - just because I think this is such a cute picture. :)

I spent way too much of my morning - like, pretty much ALL of it - playing with photos.

Definitely. :) Of course you can barely lose when you're someplace that it's okay to carry a beer around. Yeah, that's not a coke sitting next to me, it's a Guiness. :)

I'll bet you knew that was me being all unintentionally anonymous again, didn't you?

Thanks! :) These ones were all taken by [livejournal.com profile] cyberquail, I just cropped (and in the case of the one with me, overlightened).

Lady Derien, the bauble is now yours; it has been languishing in my sewing basket for years, just waiting for you to come along and give its existence meaning by allowing it to grace your lovely brow.

(As you can see, I'm home - safe, but still slightly loopy from the ride!)

*chortles* Thank you. :) Quite the silver tongue you've got there... oh yeah, I guess you should have. ;)

Very glad you made it safely! *hugs!*

(will try this again...)

I think Eor makes an adorable peasant, and I think he was the only peasant at the faire - most people don't seem to want to be commoners.

But since I'm redoing that comment, I might as well add that: It's actually easier to get upper class style costume bits. Nobody bothers to make peasant costume; he's made all his himself (aside from the sandals).

Dude, that's really impressive. I guess commoners just aren't glamorous for people to want to be 'em, but Eor does make an adorable peasant. :)
