Well, I have decided. I am going to Faire, I am not going to my cousin's step-son's funeral. I haven't managed to contact my cousin in person, so I left a message on his answering machine expressing my condolences, but wimped out and somehow managed to not say that I wasn't going to make it. I kind of wanted to say that in person, or at least in real time voice. But maybe they don't feel like answering the phone right now. So maybe I'll have to call back and leave a second message. I hate leaving my voice on a machine.

Okay. Makes me feel better. I talked to my Dad and his take on it was that M only called me in person to make sure I knew I would be welcome and that I wouldn't feel left out by not being notified.
